C'mon England

Did we ever have any doubts that a 3rd rate England team would overcome the minnows of USA. No, of course not.

2 first half goals from the debutant Kieran Richardson and the
USA didn't know what had hit them

It was one of those games where after the first 10 mins, you just couldn't see us losing and that's how it turned out, even when we lost Sol Campbell (transpires he like Peter Crouch in training went over on his ankle in the first 3 mins) at half time and then the boy wonder not long into the 2nd half (tight hamstring).

One thing I cannot quite understand, is how a country, with the money that the USA has, it has no National Football stadium and relys on hiring out NFL venues which have the wrong dimensions for a football field.

The pitch at Soldiers Field was too narrow and too short, not only that, the condition was something like you would find Sunday League match behind the pub!
